My Wife and I loaded up the car and drove north 1 1/2 hours outside of Brisbane, Queensland Australia.
Our first stop was at Kondalilla National Park for a 1-2 hour walk to the Kondalilla Falls. It was an easy walk down to the falls with a few relatively steep sections. The walk back up was a bit tougher with all those steep steps.

After lunch at a local cafe, (mmm chicken and leak pie.) we then drove half an hour to our next destination via the Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Drive.
Mount Tibrogargan is a small but steep mountain with a path leading 400 meters up the mountain. There is another 100 meters or so to the top which requires climbing up the rock face. We climbed the first section of rock face to get an uninterrupted view towards the sunset facing west. Unfortunately due to the rapidly fading light and the danger that climbing in the dark would bring, we had to leave before the real light show as the sun dipped over the horizon and lit up the sky with an orange flame.
It was quite hard to locate an address for the entrance but I found this on a Qld Government site somewhere. GPS ftw!
Mt Tibrogargan is off Marshs and Barrs Roads between Beerburrum and Glass House Mountains townships.

From there it was on to Noosa Valley Manor B&B. What a classy place! Immaculately presented, super comfy bed and a great breakfast of Eggs Benedict the next morning. A big shout out to the two Scottish Terriers who live at the B&B. Such friendly pooches!

On the way back home via the Eumundi Markets (man I thought that place was bigger) we pulled into a side street off the Bruce Highway and took this last shot.
